Everything you will need to make an amazing and easy dinner!

  • 1lb bacon
  • 14oz. smoked sausage, I used skinless
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 head of cabbage
  • Jar of your favorite alfredo sauce (this one is 22oz. I used about 3/4 of the jar)
  • Creole or cajun seasoning
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Garlic Salt
  1. Cut bacon into bite sized pieces, add to cold pan. Heat on medium/high until about halfway cooked.
  2. Cut sausage into bite sized pieces, add to half cooked bacon.
  3. Cook until both are beginning to crisp, turn down heat to finish cooking, if needed.
  4. While cooking bacon/sausage mix, chop onion and cabbage.
  5. Remove bacon/sausage from pan, transfer onto a paper towel lined plate. Do not drain grease from pan.
  6. Sauté onions in the grease on medium heat until they begin to soften.
  7. Add cabbage to onions. While adding the cabbage, put down a layer of cabbage, then season with all spices listed, continue layering until all the cabbage is in the pan. **If all the cabbage will not fit at once, that’s okay, layer as much as you can in pan with seasonings.
  8. Cover with lid, cook on medium, stirring every few minutes. **Add remaining cabbage now if needed
  9. Once cabbage is cooked down, lower heat to low/medium. Add in bacon/sausage mixture, stir to combine.
  10. Stir in alfredo sauce, adding a little at a time, until you get your desired consistency (I used about 3/4 of a 22oz. jar)
  11. Taste, season again if needed.
  12. Enjoy!
